Stephen Alan Alfors

Stephen spent his childhood in Orlando, FL, and graduated from Lyman High School in 1997. He graduated with his Bachelors degree in computer science from Clemson University in 2002.

He was a longtime resident of Chattanooga, TN, and worked as a software developer for Arcade Marketing for 13 years. He was a loving husband and caring friend who blessed many lives with his generous and dedicated spirit. He was known for hosting pool parties and game nights with friends and family. He and his wife loved to travel, and one of his proudest accomplishments was climbing both Mt. Kenya and Kilimanjaro.

He is survived by his wife Shannon, sister Suzanne, and mother ShirLee, father-in-law James, mother-in-law Marlene, and brother-in-law William.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 22nd, at Wanderlinger Brewing Company from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Friends and family are

encouraged to share stories and words of remembrance during this time. Light refreshments and food will be provided. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
