Mr. Robert Clayton Pell Jr.

Robert C. Pell, Jr., 57, of Largo, FL, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011. A native and lifelong resident of Chattanooga until moving to Florida, he was a graduate of Tyner High School and UTC. At the time of his death, he was employed as the Service Data Manager with Tech Data of Clearwater, FL. A member of the Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church, he was a blessing to everyone who met him and had lots of wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by his father Robert C. Pell, Sr.; grandmothers, Reita Wilkerson and Lala Scoggins; grandfathers, Grover Camp and Charles Pell. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Charles and Reita “Joyce” Kelley, Chattanooga; sister, Janet Karin Oaks, Chattanooga; aunts, Janice Wade, Ruth Black, Jeannette Sayre and Vivian McFalls. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions may be made to Sun Coast Hospice at thehospicefoundation.org or call 727-586-4432. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Christian Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
