Mrs. Robinson was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and graduated from Tyner High School Class of 45. She enjoyed quilting, crafts and crocheting.
Inez is survived by her husband of 72 years, John Henry Robinson; children, Teresa Robinson, Phillip (Gail) Robinson and Lamar (Karen) Robinson; grandchildren, Brandi Rapier and Joshua (Heather) Ridgeway; sister, Janice Casey; brother, Ronnie (Gail) Varnell; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lola Varnell; grandchildren, Kevin DeWayne Rapier and Brooke Nicole Robinson; and siblings, Margaret Torchia, Hazel Bowen, Granville Varnell and Walter Varnell.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday and 10 AM to 11:30 AM on Wednesday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev. Ronnie Dotson officiating.
Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
