Phillip worked as a machinist; he loved his friends and family, riding his motorcycle-racing at the drag strip and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Dimple Snyder; grandparents Claude and Myrtle Dodson; dad Ed Dodson; mother Betty Jean Dodson Frazier.
Phillip is survived by his daughters September and Truly Dodson of Chattanooga, TN and Heidi Hester; brother Claude ( Vicky) Dodson; nieces Amy ( Matt) Day and Angel Sherrard; Nephew Will( Hump) Sherrard.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 1-3:30 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Franklin Strickland Chapel.
Memorial Service will be conducted at 3:30 on Sunday in the funeral home chapel.
