She was a native of Chattanooga, TN graduated from Central High School and Chattanooga State.
Jean worked in transport at Leaseway, Penske and Covenant Transport before retiring in 2007.
Jean was preceded in death by her father, Alden Goodner; mother, Mildred Goodner; brothers, James and Bill Goodner; and niece, Yvonne Crocker.
Survivors include brother, Boyd (Judy) Goodner; special nephew, Steve (Mary) Goodner; and several nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
The family would like to thank the caregivers from Rosewwod Assisted Living and Tapestry Hospice for the love and care shown to Peggy.
