Mildred I. Marshall

She was born in Pleasureville, Kentucky, on February 7, 1934, to the late Paul T. and Evelyn Heilman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Bill Marshall, and her sister, Evelyn Paul “EP” Harris.

Mildred loved cooking and spending time with her family, whom she deeply cherished. She found tremendous joy in babysitting many children that she adored for over 60 years. For 10 years she served in the nursery at Silverdale Baptist where you would usually find her holding and rocking a little one.

She is survived by her son, Lance (Lisa) Marshall, of Chattanooga, TN, granddaughter, Paige (Micah) Horvath, of Chattanooga, TN, grandson, Grant (Erin) Marshall, of Murfreesboro, TN, two great- grandchildren, Wavorly and John Horvath, brother, Bob (Carol) Heilman, of Daniel Island, SC, sister, Betty (Gene) Brown, of Frankfort, KY, and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date in KY.
