Mary Blondell McDonald, age 75, of Ooltewah, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 after an extended battle with cancer. She was born July 14, 1940 in Ft. Payne, Alabama to the late Ollie & Eula Hairston.
Blondell was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Her husband, Terry McDonald, grandson, Blake Allen, and brother, Loyd Hairston preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Patricia (Steve) Allen of Ooltewah; Melissa (Gary) Hill of Chattanooga; Terry McDonald, Jr. of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Nicholas Pereira and his children, Bella and Christian of Ooltewah; Jeremy (Susan) Hill and his children, Michael and Anna of Chattanooga; one sister, Shirley (Ronnie) Bryson of Ringgold; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 30, 2015 from 3-7 p.m. at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 8214 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
