Marie Stracke

She was born September 14, 1945 in Blackfoot, Idaho, daughter of Arthur and Ina Madsen. Marie enjoyed helping those around her and making people smile. She was faithful in her religion and to her family.

She married Michael J. Stracke in 1978 in Reno, NV.

She is survived by 3 sons: Jeffrey Boehme, Michael Stracke, and Jonny Stracke; 2 daughters: Yvonne Watson and Jacqueline Rizzo; 11 grandchildren Michael Drummond, Tamara Powers, Jeffrey Boehme, Alex Watson, Tiffany Morton, Paul Rizzo Jr, Ashley Stracke, Cole Rizzo, Chase Rizzo, Brodi Rizzo, and Blake Rizzo; 13 great-grandchildren: Mason Harrell, Connor Harrell, Aubrey Harrell, Reese Seekford, Lily Seekford, Jaiden Watson (Moss), Brantley Watson, Elijah Rizzo, Koah Morton, Taslyn Morton, Quinton Drummond, Eva Boehme, and Lizette Boehme. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents; 3 brothers: Gene Madsen, Eldon Madsen, Gary Madsen; a grandson: Paul Drummond; a great-granddaughter: Tillie Morton.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Friday, August 26, 2022 at Chattanooga Funeral Home, Valley View Chapel, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 27, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3067 Ooltewah Ringgold Road, Ooltewah, TN 37363, with Bishop Thomas Hale conducting.

A private interment will be in the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.
