He accepted and received our Lord at a young age. He has awakened to a risen Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ. Larry routinely spoke about what the Lord had done for him.
Larry attended Brainerd High School. He worked as a security officer for over 30 years at several companies and was currently employed with River City Security.
He enjoyed target practice at the shooting range and loved watching movies and listening to music, especially Sam Cooke. For many years during his life, he loved to jog all over the Chattanooga area. Many friends, relatives, etc. would offer to give him a ride, but he turned them all down because he loved jogging so much.
Larry is preceded in death by his father, Lamar Hinton.
Those he leaves behind to cherish his memories are his one son, Jamison Patrick Lacey of Chattanooga; one daughter, Jumasha Janay Pulliam of Houston, TX; mother, Evangelist Dorothy V. Pulliam Austin of Chattanooga; three brothers, Kenneth D. Pulliam, Sr. (Carol), David Hinton and Patrick Hinton all of Chattanooga; two sisters, Donna E. Hinton of Lancaster, CA and Catherine Lynette Hinton of Chattanooga; one grandson, Jace Ja'Karri Pulliam of Houston, TX; other relatives and friends.
A Visitation for Larry will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
Funeral Services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm with Minister Morris Beaty and Pastor Theodore Lindsey, Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park, 501 Memorial Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37415.
