He was born June 27, 1932 in Chicago, IL to the late Roy & Lillie Anderson.
He was an avid lifelong Chicago Cubs Fan.
Mr. Anderson was a United States Navy Veteran. He served on the U. S. S. Requisite and the
U. S. S. Briareus during the Korean War.
He retired from the Floor Covering Industry after more than 35 years of service.
He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlene V. Anderson; son, Brent Williams; and brother Stanford Hall.
Survivors include his second wife of 37 years, Charlene A. Anderson; his children, Tom (Renee’) Anderson of Meridian, ID, Scott Anderson of Inverness, FL, Kenny Anderson, Jr. of Largo, FL, Barbara (Rickey) Holbrook of Fairmount, GA, Robert (Peggy) Anderson of Cumby, TX, David (Diane) Anderson of Clearwater, FL, Chris Elrod of Franklin, TN, Allen Williams of Ringgold, GA, and Dan Williams of Decatur, TN; sisters, Arlene (George) Westwood of Arlington Heights, IL and Doris Krafthefer of Scottsdale, AZ; sixteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mr. Anderson will be laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery with private services and military honors.
