Jonah Junior ‘PAP’ Early, age 83 of McDonald, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 27, 2009 in a local health care facility. He was born November 20, 1925 to the late Jonah Marion and Martha Lou Early.
Mr. Early was a member of New Haven Baptist Church.
His wife of 65 years, Betty Ruth Early, daughters, Debbie Early and Barbara Weathers, several brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughter, Geraldine Thomas: sons, Owen (Connie) Early; Ray (Joy) Early all of McDonald; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Valley View Chapel with Rev. Bill Broom officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
