A lifelong resident of Ooltewah, He was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Combustion Engineering. He enjoyed bird watching, gardening and restoring antique cars.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Robinson and two grandchildren, Kevin Rapier and Brooke Robinson.
Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Robinson (Claudio); two sons, Phillip Robinson (Gail) and Lamar Robinson (Karen); grandson, Joshua Ridgeway (Heather); granddaughter, Brandi Rapier, two sisters, Rosada Whitener and Lorene White; brother, Lois G. Robison; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Valley View Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Dotson officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
