John worked for Babb Lumber Company for 32 years. He enjoyed his Bowling League. John was a Veteran and served in Army Reserves for 6 ½ years. He was a member of Clearview Baptist Church for over 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his Mother; Kathryn Curtis Grant, Father; Leland Everett Grant, Nephews; Jeremy and Curtis Coates.
He is survived by Wife; Deborah Starr Hannah Grant, Daughters; Amanda Grant Goins Farr Harrod and Helen Heather Grant, Grandsons; Dakota Wayne Goins, Michael Joseph Farr, John Blaze Harrod and Jaden Grant Harrod, Granddaughter; Nevaeh Starr Harrod, Son-In-Law; Jason Harrod, Sisters, Nancy Kendrick, Susan (Charles) Coates, Melissa Schrader and Christian Faith.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 21, 2022, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 pm at Clearview Baptist Church 2183 Dietz Road Ringgold. GA, 30736 Bobby Rogers will be officiating the service
