Joel Edward Fitts

He was preceded in death by parents, Dr. Marlin E. and Katherine Fitts.

Joel graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.S. Degree in Chemistry and was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. He was the owner of ComForcare Senior Services in Chattanooga.

He was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Sparks Fitts, of Ooltewah, TN, daughter and son-in-law, Karen (Scott) Morrow, of Rutherfordton, NC, son and daughter-in-law, David (Elif) Fitts, of Tampa, FL, four grandchildren, Jessica, Madison, Camen, Aiden and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Rimer officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
