She born in Trion, GA to the late John Thomas and Louise Sprayberry Thomas. Jenith was a former Administrative Assistant with Huffaker Reality for many years. She loved bird watching, shopping, lunch with her friends, traveling and long drives that led to many adventures. Jenith was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth “Ken” Ray Strickland in 2018.
Survivors include her two sons, Matthew Scott Strickland and Matthew Scott Strickland, II, both of Chattanooga, TN; granddaughter, Kaylee Taylor Strickland, Westminster, MD; great-granddaughters, Ella Rae Strickland and Allie Kate Strickland and several nieces.
The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 1 PM Friday, January 12, 2024, at the funeral home.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 PM Friday, January 12, 2024 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Travis Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Ken.
