She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Lois Bennett; husband, Reverend Ditto B. Townsend; brother, Richard Bennett; sisters, Janice Holloway and Reverend Berline Wade.
Those Jeannett leaves behind to cherish her precious memories are sons, Brett L. and Brian L. Townsend both of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Stanley Bennett of Black Mountain Top, NC; Grandchildren, Tanesha Townsend and Brian L. Townsend, Jr.; Great-grandchildren, Chynah Nelson, Courtney Nelson, Jr. and Cassidy Nelson of Chattanooga; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019, at 1:00pm at the Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel, 1724 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga.
Burial will follow at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Hwy 153.
