Mrs. Blalock was born and raised in Chattanooga, a member of Ooltewah Baptist Church a graduate of Central High School. Myra was also retired from the Human Resources Departments of TVA and the U. S. Post Office.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Blalock; parents, George and Hazel Randall; and brother, Fred Randall.
Surviving are her children, Michael (Stephanie) Cain, Janis Cain Kimbrough and Mark (Cindy) Cain; grandchildren, Jessica Munsey Burrows, Josie Cain, Jaylyn Cain Kimbrough, Madison Cain, Mya Cain, Jarrett Kimbrough and River Cain; great-granddaughter, Gracelyn; sister-in-law, Jane Harding Randall Penton; nieces, Ellen (Perry) Bethea and Jennifer (Raymond) Bell; and nephew, Fred (Lisa) Randall.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, February 19th and from 12 Noon to 1 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 1 PM on Thursday, February 20th at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Williams officiating.
Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson.
