Jason W. Tawzer

He was a resident of Hixson for 8 years. Jason was a courier for Nite-Lite Express Inc. for many years. He was an avid sports fan especially, the Tennessee Vols and Ric Flair. Whoooo! Jason also enjoyed going and listening to live music.

Jason is preceded in death by his parents, David and Joyce Tawzer; maternal grandparents, George and Ruth Rector; and paternal grandparents, Cullen and Bess Tawzer.

He is survived by his brother, Kevin (Toshia) Tawzer; daughter, Alexis (Kenny) Morkrid; wife, Dedra Carroll; nieces, Madelyn Tawzer and Drew Tawzer; stepson, Robbie (Emma) Touchstone; grandchildren, Avery Morkrid, Lila Bee Touchstone, and Ben Touchstone; aunts, Carol (Steve) Yarbrough and Merne Bednarczyk; cousin, Julie (Seth) Goodwin; and best friend, Ronnie Robinson.

A visitation for Jason will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Franklin-Strickland Chapel, 1724 Mccallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404, followed by a memorial service at 5:00 PM officiated by Rev. Frankie Carroll and Uncle, Steve Yarbrough.
