Remembering old friends, and fun times of laughter and fellowship!

Went had a great sense of humor and in traveling with them he had anything you wanted to eat or drink. Always prepared.....Miss that.

First and foremost let me say what a sweet uncle !  I grew up being as close as sisters instead of cousins with Susie 🥰 ...  all my childhood , we were always together in one way or another .  Most weekends were spent either at my house or hers , which in turn made my Uncle Wint more like another father figure than an uncle .    One specific memory comes to mind ( although there are many -Christmas’s , birthdays, family reunions at East lake park , etc ) ,  one time me and Susie were playing Barbie dolls in her bedroom when Rodney looked out the sliding glass door and there was a fire 🔥 in the back yard . Uncle Wint and Rodney were hero’s that night .  Rushing out to put out the big scary fire before it reached these two little girls playing dolls .....    always a hero in my eyes ....  love and miss you Uncle Wint 🥰

I didn't have the privilege of knowing Went very well, but I do know that he loved his family, and he took care of them. He didn't sit on the sidelines, he was a doer and he got things done.

Love and Prayers for Jane and all the family and friends at this difficult time.  May God's grace and beautiful memories of Went fill your hearts in the times ahead.

Sorry for the families lost I didn’t know him that much but I knew his brother his brother was my brother-in-law

I remember Wint and Jane taking me to my first drive-in movie when I was a young kid. I thought it was the grandest thing ever, seeing that big screen. Rest in peace dear Wint. My prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. Love to all.
