J.B. Nichols, 82, of Ooltewah, TN, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011 in a local hospital. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he was a member and Deacon of the Cross Roads Baptist Church. He was retired from Combustion Engineering and was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Anna belle Nichols; Son, Ronnie; three daughters, Brenda, Janice and Regina; several grandchildren; brother Jerry. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mike Steele officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Monday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
