Gwen was a retired registered nurse, she had worked at Erlanger, Parkridge and CHI Memorial. She is a graduate of Baroness Erlanger School of Nursing, 1964. Gwen loved feeding her birds and squirrels on the deck.
Gwen is preceded in death by her husband John Tant; father Woodrow W Pearson; mother Mary Lou Knisely; brothers Eugene Pearson and Ron Pearson; grandparents William H. and Neppie R. Pearson and John B. Wear and Minnie Bell Sloan.
Gwen is survived by her daughter Angela Tant of Hixson, TN; numerous nieces and nephew.
