Geneva L. Davis, 91, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was preceded in death by her husband David Sampson Davis; son, David Michael Davis. She was also a member of the Bartlebaugh Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Larry Davis and James R. (Mary) Davis; daughter-in-law, Jeannie Davis all of Chattanooga; seven grandchildren, Suzettee, Denettee, Annettee, Mary Ann, Jim, David and Lori; seven great-grandchildren, Joshua, Rendall, David, Daniel, Brandon, Cameron and Parker. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Don Ferguson officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
