I’m so sorry for your loss Leyda. Gabino was a wonderful person.  I have fond memories of him  always saying hi to me at church no matter what. Will never forget that. He will be deeply missed by all. My prayers go out to you and your boys.  🙏🏼

The love we felt at your house this day after so many years without seeing each other, was priceless! We hold in our memories so many times at the Medical Cadets that we will cherish for ever. Leyda, know that we love you and wish we could be there to hug you and give you and your sons comfort! God has promised to always be there for us in the good times and in the sad ones.  Praying that you feel His presence and love all the time. Gabino will always be remembered! His smile will never be forgotten! This is not our home, and looking forward when Jesus comes to takes us home. What a beautiful day that will be! ❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼

The first time Dani and I met this beautiful family was at Leyda and Gabino’s baby boy’s dedication in Georgia, with Tia Olga and Tio Juan Iznaga. We are shocked to hear we’ve lost such a young friend of the family.  Our condolences goes out to Leyda and the boys and the rest of the family. I am so sorry to hear of Gabe’s passing. I worked with him for several years at the Department of Juvenile Justice. Gabe was the kindest man.  He had a very big heart for the children at risk that we served.  
I never was a fan of parmigiana eggplant until Gabe brought one he prepared to our office Thanksgiving celebration.  He assured me I would like, and I did.  It was very tasty.
I know your loss is big and no words will help, just find peace and comfort in knowing heaven gained another angel.  My prayers are with you.

Leyda, Alexis y Gabriel, ustedes tenían a un gran hombre a su lado, nunca en la vida lo vi enojado, siempre estaba sonriendo y de buen animo. Esperamos verlo de nuevo en aquel gran día de la resurreccion!!

Dear Leyda, Alexis, Gabriel and family,

Pablo and I are deeply saddened. Brother Gabino will be missed dearly. He was a very supportive father very involved in Alexis’s  and Gabriel’s activities as I can attest from the good old days in the Adventures club. He was also an avid student of the Bible and was a great sabbath school teacher and contributor. My last interaction with him was during sabbath school lesson when we we were reviewing lesson 7 titled  “Christ ‘s Victory Over Death”. Gabino  commented that Jesus didn’t need the tomb stone to have been moved for Him to come out. Jesus, he said could have crossed through the stone just as He crossed into the room where the disciples were gathering  behind locked doors in John chapter 20.   That was a great point! Yes! Jesus can do anything no matter how hard or incredible. That was Gabino’s conviction and I know that Gabino believed that that same Jesus will call wake him up from his sleep on resurrection day.  
Gabino also shared a quote from E. G White which he had found and that supported that yes, the angel rolled the stone for Jesus to come out. We don’t know why it had to be like that when Jesus could have crossed right through the stone if he wanted to. There are things that we don’t understand about why God allows things to happen in certain ways and not others. But we know, like Gabino believed,  that Jesus can do anything and however things end up happening, they don’t define His power. Sadly, we can’t make sense of why Gabino is no longer among us. But, we do know that Jesus will have the last word in Gabino’s future. That glorious day, the dead in Christ will rise first.     Love you Leyda, love you Alexis,  love you Gabriel and that love which is in Jesus, extends to all the family. Please accept our condolences as we will continue to lift you up in prayer. 

Gabe was such a light at Clifton Hills. He was so supportive of our families and was always there to help beyond his job. He was always kind and had a smile on his face. He looked for solutions and was a wonderful colleague. He will be so missed. 

Gabino was a great man. I'll always remember him as just being such a gentle soul. One of my earliest memories is from Gabino and Leyda's wedding when I was just a young kid, maybe 4 or 5 years old. He will be greatly missed. We all were blessed to have him part of our family. Until we meet again in God's Kingdom.

Dear Tio Gambino,
You've been part of our family as far back as I can remember (and I remember singing at your wedding at 6 or 7). You've always had such a radiant, witty, and playful personality. Never rattled. Cool as a cucumber. And to top it all off an amazing man of God. A true role model and I am blessed to have been given this time with you. I am also thankful that you were able to meet and play with your great nephew and niece. We will hold those memories dear until the day we see each other again. Love you always.

Gabe will be greatly missed at the Rock Spring, SDA church! He was a kind and gentle brother of all at the church, and loved Jesus! The world has lost a bright light and is now a little darker.

I am stunned and saddened to even think of Gabino not being with us. He was a gentle soul who almost always had a smile on his face and something positive to say, even when the conversation was pessimistic. I wil be praying for Leyda and the boys and will do everything I can to be the best cousin to Leyda and the best uncle to Alexis and Gabriel.
