Eric Michael Conner

Eric was born in Chattanooga and grew up in Harrison and Ooltewah. He attended Central High School, graduated from Family Christian Academy and attended Chattanooga State. He loved his family, fishing, photography and was an avid reader. He was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church.

He is survived by parents Gary and Sandy (Honeycutt) Conner of Ooltewah; children Abbey Kate Conner, Jonas Gray Conner (daughter and son of Katie Conner of South Pittsburgh) and Jude Anthony Conner (son of Lindsay Leonard of Auburn, WA); sister Dana Conner Owen of Ft. Oglethorpe, grandparents Herbert and Barbara Conner of Ooltewah and Marian Honeycutt of Hixson. Eric was preceded in death by his grandfather, Howard Honeycutt of Hixson. He is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Eric’s Name may be made to the Oakwood Baptist Church building fund, 4501 Bonny Oaks Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Oakwood Baptist Church on Bonny Oaks Drive in Chattanooga with the Rev. Ken Clark, the Rev, Eric Stitts and the Rev. Dean Ropp of Cumming, GA officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
