Jack “Edward” Lee Haynes, son of Ernest Haynes and Sandra Newton, went home to be with his Lord and Savior early Saturday Morning, August 20th, 2022. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends. Jack was 49 years young.
While Jack was a man of many talents and trades, the things he took the most pride in were his loving wife, his three amazing children, and his beautiful pup. He loved everyone in his life fiercely until the end. He was always thinking of how he could serve others with all glory to God. He remained a man that wouldn’t judge while practicing his life motto of “loving god and loving others”.
Mr. Haynes was an author and paranormal enthusiast. His debut book was titled “Oscar’s World,” and he was in the midst of writing his second work. Jack also recently began his own company, “Paranooga.com,” which allowed him to tell ghostly tales all through Chattanooga. Paranooga will be carried on in his memory by Trisha Miller McLellan. Mr. Haynes loved being the Patriarch of his church, The Nicene Church. “Break the Chains,” a podcast hosted by Mr. Haynes and his wife, chronicled the stories of domestic abuse survivors.
Mr. Haynes is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Jessica Haynes; son and daughter-in-law, Nathan Haynes and Madison Haynes; two daughters, Kayle and McKenzie Haynes; and his adorable pup, Lola, all of Chattanooga, TN. Mr. Haynes is also survived by his sisters, Melissa Haynes, Gayla Lorraine Sitz; brother, Steve Haynes; his in-laws, Sue and Dub Phillips; several nieces and nephews, and countless friends whom he knew as family.
Join us for his memorial on Sunday, August 28th, 2022, at 4:00 pm at St. Albans Episcopal Church, 7514 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343
