Doyle Harris

He was the son of the late James and Bessie Harris and was preceded in death by two sisters, Faye Jackson, Pauline Knox, and three brothers, Jimmy, George and Bud Harris.

Doyle was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Coca Cola Bottling Company.

He attended Calvary Life Fellowship Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Darlene Harris, three children, Billy Doyle Harris (Renee), James Ray Harris, all of Ooltewah, TN, Sheila Conner (Jeff), of Georgetown, TN, nine grandchildren, Ashley Vukov, Brittany Duncan (Tyler), Patrick Kelley, Garey Kelley, Justin Conner, Kristina Harris, Shawn Foote, Eli Harris, James Harris, Jr., two great-grandchildren, Trenton Harris, Brenlee Harris and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2016, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ooltewah Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at the funeral home.
