She was born in Englewood, Tennessee on September 9, 1932, to the late Robert and Estelle Raper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruel Duff, Jr., three brothers, Kenneth, Carl and Otis Raper, five sisters, Louise Duff, Mary Sue Stiles, Ruth Blackwell, Wanda Barnette, Lucille Durrick and grandson, Larry Duff, Jr.
Dorothy retired from Qualex Kodak in Chattanooga and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her two sons, Carl (Kim) Duff, of East Ridge, TN, Larry Duff, Sr., of McKenzie, TN, grandson, Robbie Duff, two step-granddaughters, Serena (Dom) Spezia, Samantha (Nick) Cope, two great-great grandsons, Seth and Curtis Duff, brother, Curtis Raper, of Ooltewah, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm, Wednesday, May, 17, 2017, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm, Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the funeral home.
