Dorothy J. Cushway, 71, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday. December 25, 2010 at her residence. A native of Chicago, IL, she has been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past 20 years. She was of the Jehovah’s Witness faith and was the daughter of the late Samuel Edwin and Rena Glas Cushway. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Cushway. Survivors include two sons, John Ortiz and his wife Norma of Kennesaw, GA and Les Ortiz, Chattanooga; two grandchildren, Evin Ortiz and Jennifer Ortiz; sisters, Jennie Clawson, and Rena Downing Chicago, IL. A memorial service for Dorothy was held at 3 p.m. Wednesday 2-29-10 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 7221 Tyner Road, Chattanooga, TN.
