He was a member of Green Pasture Community Church where he had served as a deacon and was a former employee of Siskin Steel and Supply.
Greg was an avid Tennessee Vols Fan.
His grandparents Lawrence and Vaudie Turner and Julius and Blanche Panter preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Ryan Turner, Ashlee Turner, and Chase Turner all of Chattanooga; parents, Rachel Turner of Chattanooga and Don Turner of McCaysville, Georgia; sisters, Becky Turner-Montieth of East Ridge; Crystal Turner (Gene) Godsey of Ringgold; nieces and nephews, Seth Medley, Whitney Shirley, Andrew Godsey, Morgan Montieth, and Kaylee Godsey; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 5, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. at the East Brainerd Chapel with a service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert K. Schrader officiating.
Additional visitation will be held Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery in Mineral Bluff, Georgia at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family for medical and final expenses.
