Reverend Don McKee, 76, loving husband and father of three children passed away Monday, August 31, 2020. Don was born on May 5, 1944 in Chattanooga, TN to Paul and Thelma McKee. He was a Pastor in the Church of God. He was married to his wife Alyce A. Wilcox 50 years. They raised three sons, Don Jr., John David and Paul.
Don had a passion for serving the Lord and was a member of Oakwood Church of God of Prophecy. He was known for his wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Don was preceded in death by his wife, Alyce; his father, Paul; his mother, Thelma; his son John David; great-grandson Waylon; brothers Eugene and Jerry; sisters Patricia Brumlow, Rebecca Sims and Linda Bonds.
He is survived by his two children, Don Jr. and Paul; sister Lizabeth (Charles) Pyburn; seven grandchildren, Donnie (Rebecka), Logan, Lani, Samantha, Nicholas, Gaby Colon and Jaylee Colon; two great grandchildren, Holden and Alivia. He also had several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank his niece Wendy Yates who was his confidant and took care of his well being.

All covid mandates will be in place which includes a face covering and social distancing.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Tyner Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Swaggerty officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. Thursday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
