Giving honor to God who is the head of my life.  It's truly a blessing for me to be able to give my condolences to the Williams family and friends.  My blessed memories are our childhood days playing basketball on the playground.  I thank God for our Riverside Drive family for showing up and be a blessing to the Williams Family.  A Family that prays together stays together ❤️.  My God bless you and keep you and yours safe and warm in His loving arms ❤️

Sending my deepest condolences to the Williams family. Growing up on Riverside Dr. we all were considered family.  I will never forget the early years of us attending birthday parties nor will I ever forget playing basketball on the playground ,baseball in the middle of the street , having to be in the house before the street lights came on,  riding the bus to school from elementary to high school all these things kept us close and well grounded. So many memories I cannot name them all. But throughout all these experiences Darryl remained the same. He will truly be missed. Rest easy my friend, my play cousin. 💔🙏🏾🙏🏾

Sending my condolences to the family. My favorite memory of Darryl is when we were both on stage at Rivermont Elementary School at an awards ceremony. This kid received a BIG trophy and plaque for not missing a day of school from the 1st grade to the 6th grade. Darryl leaned over to me and said “no one would ever do anything like that he is just a stupid idiot. We both started laughing with the programs up to our faces. The kid approached the stage after being recognized for his performance and before he could get to the podium he passed out right in front of Darryl and I. Darryl leaned over to me again and said”see he should have taken a day or two and that  probably wouldn’t have happened. We were laughing so hard we forgot to put the programs back up to our faces. Rest in Peace my brother and you will be truly missed.

With deepest condolences to the family. Growing up with Darryl on Riverside Dr is one of the best experiences of my life. One of my fondest memories is when we would meet at the Swoops house and play football. Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed by many.

Growing up on Riverside Drive was an unique experience for a small group of close friends, Larry, Leonard, Dennis, Lendell, Brian and Darryl. We will be brothers forever. We will strive to make Darryl proud as he watches over us from heaven. We will miss Darryl and never stop loving him.
