Daniel Patrick Riley Sr.

SP4 Daniel Patrick Riley Sr. of Chattanooga, TN left his earthly home on Monday, January 27th, 2025 surrounded by family. Born on July 21,1962 in Wilmington, NC to the late George A. Riley Sr. and Peggy Faye Wescott Riley.

Reuniting with his lovely wife, Pamela Riley, who preceded him in 2021. Also preceding him is his brother, George Riley Jr.; sister, Sandra Murray; and husband Richard.

Surviving is his son, Daniel Riley, Jr (Skylar); daughter, Mollie Wells (Tavish); grandchildren, Erika Phillips, Nathyn Wells and Alexzander Wells; father-in-law, John McIntosh; sisters-in-law, Tammy Davis ( Lyndon), Joy Wright (Stephen) and a Wendy Croft (Michael); nieces Karin Webber , Jaileen McDuffie (Sherrow) and Donna Estep (Jared); 13 Great nieces and nephews.

SP4 Daniel Patrick Riley Sr. proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Troop Supply Sergeant and Unit Armor. During his service he was stationed in Korea, and Saudi Arabia, during Desert Storm. Upon being honorably discharged from the Army, he began driving tractor trailers until 2024.

He loved his family and friends and when he would speak to you the first thing he would say was "Why hello, meaner than I am”. SP4 Daniel Patrick Riley Sr. will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 11:00 am at New Covenant Baptist Church, 105 Spruce Street, Rossville, GA 30741, with Pastor Mike Gregg officiating.

Graveside Committal Services will follow on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 1:30 pm at Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
