She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Ida Mason and was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Franklin Kelley, son, Michael Franklin Kelley, two brothers and two sisters.
Cynthia was born September 4, 1931, in Delano, Tennessee. She was co-owner of Big K Tackle Shop located on Highway 58 in Harrison before later retiring as a matron with CCA.
She was a longtime member of Lakewood Baptist Church.
Survivors include her brother, Ernie Mason, of Millsboro, DE, two grandsons, Michael Franklin Kelley, Jr., of Atlanta, GA, Joseph Kelley, of GA, several nephews, a niece and a special friend, Florene Tinker, of Chattanooga.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. David Bragg officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
