Christopher "Tony" Anton Johnson

He graduated from Howard High School Class of 77, and he received a certification from Oak Ridge Welding School. Tony also attended Chattanooga State Community College. As a young boy, Tony was very involved in wrestling, "Boy's Club", and baseball. He was a very friendly, humorous, and smart person.

Tony is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mrs. Florine Lawson and Alberta Mack; father, Mr. Ernest L. Johnson Sr.; mother, Ms. Marion Garrett Johnson; brother, Ernest L. Johnson Jr.; niece, Crystal Johnson Cranford; and brother-in-law, Nathaniel Strickland Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Terrell L. (LaFreda) Johnson Sr. and Larone Johnson; sister, Leattrice J. Strickland; nephews, Ernest L. (Fahren) Johnson III, James L. (Carla) Johnson, Marcos (Katie) Johnson, Corey Fletcher, Nathaniel C. Strickland, Darrell Strickland, and Terrell L. Johnson Jr.; niece, Rainey J. Roberson; aunts, Doris Parker and Frances Martin; cousin, Alberta Mitchell; and other family and friends.

A graveside service for Tony will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Tyner Cemetery, 6620 Bonny Oaks Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
