Cheryl had the best of the best sense of humor. She could see humor in so many situations and have everyone around laughing out loud.  She could be down to earth with sound effective advice when needed, comfort you when you were down and weary but if laughter was the best solution she would get you going! I miss her every day but I can smile in remembrance of a friendship that I still treasure.

What can you say about someone who has touched your life in a special way.  My story starts with Gary and I at Tyner Junior High we used to hang together especially when I turned 14 and bought the Honda 65 Scrambler. Gary would always come up with an excuse why he needed a ride home. Man that seems like only yesterday, but my body is definitely telling a different story now. Gary would say my chest fell into my drawers.  

When he met Cheri you could tell they both we crazy about each other. When Eric was born you could tell who his Daddy was he was like Gary all over again. I had never seen a kid with no fear but that was Eric. Holly was the apple of her Daddy's eye and if you were around any length of time you knew she had him wrapped around that pinky finger.  

Cheryl was a great Mom, firm but fair and you could tell she had that same steadfast love for Gary over their years together,  she was in everyway a 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 example of what true love is (Go read it). I was just a friend that had the privilege's to check in from time to time and glad to call them both my friend, looking  forward to seeing her when we all get together. Prayers for Gary and the family.

Cheryl was one of the warmest and sweetest souls with a great sense of humor who was never at a loss for words.  She made my Mother of the Groom dress for my son’s wedding and would not accept any payment despite the hours she put into making the dress.   I still have the dress and will keep because it is so special.  She was truly a special lady!  Even though Cheryl is no longer her physically, her spirit will always be with her family that she loved and supported so much!

My heart has been so heavy since Cheryl passed.  She accepted my brother Corey into her family with open arms and loved him like her own.  I think he hit the jackpot with mother in laws!  To know Cheryl was to know she loved her family fiercely and unconditionally.  I know there is now a huge hole left behind in her Earthly absence but I pray for you Gary, Holly, Eric, and the rest of her family that knowing her body is now healed and she is free of pain brings a little bit of peace.  I have no doubt she is watching over you all and has become your guardian angel and you will see her again someday.  ❤️

We would eat at Richards a lot and every time she was there her and Gary would come out and sit with me and Brenda,I believe she loved Brenda dearly.

Cheryl was a kind and loving women I remember seeing her on the days she would be feeling under the weather she always had a smile and always an up lifting word. A lady who was a true servant leader.... Walk in Peace my friend. 

My husband Larry Pinkard and I loved Cheryl very much. She came into our produce stand in 2019 and I turned to get her mom something and fell and knocked myself out. I'm so glad she was there. We will miss her so much.

You took me to my first rabbit show. It was so amazing i wanted to go back. I use to help you with the rabbits. I rember one time you took me to a show and you got me a hamster. I named it BJ. My love for rabbits is because of you. thank you gmaw❤️

Dear Gary,   Aunt Bonita just told me about Cheryl.  I was so shocked by the news.  Since mom is in the nursing home, I don’t hear news at times until much later.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

You were an amazing woman inside and out. You took me to my first Rabbit show and I actually got my first rabbit from you guys and named her Easter. You were always so sweet and kind to me. Even after we all graduated high school. You were like a second mom. You will be missed so much. Fly high Mrs. Cheryl. Watch over us all from heaven. ❤

Cheryl was a special friend and loved by many. To those who knew her understood her love for our Lord, her family and her friends. She could be the calming person in a stressful situation with a look, a pat on the arm, and a calming voice to settle frazzled nerves or a chaotic situation. She could inject humor into most everything and bring a round of laughter til your eyes were leaking!! I’m proud to call her a sister by choice not blood.  

i rember one time the whole family went to splash country together. i rode the big water slide with you and we went up  on an edge and you farted. Now everytime i think about a water slide i think about that time.
