He was a Vietnam Veteran (Navy), an avid outdoorsman and loving family man. He worked all his life as an engineer for 3M, General Electric, Coors, Brach and Brock, Standard Candy and Hardy Farms.
He is survived by his wife Charlotte; sons, Thomas (Winter), James, and Chuck (Joy); daughters, Rachel and Sharleen; grandchildren, Alex and Trinity; great-grandchild, Benjamin; two sisters; and one brother.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 31, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at the East Brainerd Chapel.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Dr. Alan Johnston officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
