A lifelong resident of the Harrison and Ooltewah area, he was born on December 1, 1954 to his parents Barbara “Peaches” and Victor Adams. Leroy was an outdoorsman that loved fishing and hunting. He was a long term member of the Harrison Bass Masters.
Survivors include his loving wife Doris Adams; daughter Leann Kerr and husband Donnie; grandson, Wyatt Kerr; sister Debbie Adams and his brother David Adams, along with many other friends and family that he always held dear to his heart.
While Leroy will be dearly missed by all who knew him, he would want everyone to know he was more than prepared and eager to meet his Lord and savior. Leroy was of the Church of God Faith.
We would like to say a special thank you to all family members and friends and also to the staff of Hospice of Chattanooga.
During the visitation and funeral service, all CDC Covid mandates will be in place such as wearing a face covering and social distancing.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday in Ooltewah Cemetery with the Rev. Don Oliver officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday before the service from 12 noon until 2:00 pm at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
