Carolyn Ann Williams

She was a 1962 graduate of Central High School. Mrs. Williams had been a long-time employee of Provident Life Insurance Company and was a retired bank teller for Suntrust. She was most recently employed with the Tri-Community Fire Department in Collegedale.

She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in East Brainerd for 28 years. She loved Bible study and would often tell others about Jesus, our Savior, when asked about the Star of David necklace she wore.

Her favorite activities included having tea with her granddaughter and watching her dance; watching her grandsons’ football games; and making her grandchildren’s favorite food, macaroni & cheese.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Leonard Raymond Williams; son and daughter-in-law, Scott & Donna Williams; grandchildren, Cooper, Shelby and Calum Williams all of Hixson; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy & Steve Janney of Birmingham, Alabama;

A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jesse Pirschell and Dr. Render Caines officiating. Interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
