Brenda Lou Johnson

She was born on November 14, 1951 in Grundy, Virginia to Russell Justus and Kelsie Smith. Brenda married Carl Johnson on August 5, 1972 and were happily building their life together until he passed in 2004. She was deeply rooted in her faith and regularly served in the children's ministry at her church. Brenda was loving, loyal and very protective of her family.

Brenda was preceded in death by her loving husband Carl Johnson; parents Russell and Kelsie Justus; siblings Eurmil, Roger, Janet, Phyllis, Sammy, Darrell, Patricia and Teddy.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Tina Johnson; grandchildren Savannah Johnson, Alyssa Johnson-Rumps and Garrett Rumps; siblings Betty Justus, Ricky Justus, Pamela Justus and Nina Justus.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 11-1pm at Faith Baptist Church, 273 Old graysville Road, Dayton, TN 37321.

Funeral service for Brenda will be conducted at 1 pm on Saturday at Faith Baptist Church, Dayton, TN,

Interment will follow in Smyrna Cemetery, Evensville, TN
