Bobby Glenn Robinson, 80, of Ooltewah went home to be with the Lord, September 3, 2014 after a long illness. He was born April 3, 1934 in Hamilton County, Tennessee to the late J. C. and Rosada Robinson. He was preceded in death by a daughter Debbie Robinson Branson and a son Jack Brian Clure. He was retired from TVA and Combustion Engineering. He was a long time member of Providence Baptist Church in Ooltewah. He was an avid gardener, he loved history and hunting relics.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Patricia Gentry Robinson; three daughters Mitzi Robinson Workman, Melissa Clure Helmes (Scott) and Angie Robinson Nice (Harry); brother Harvey Robinson, seven grandchildren David Workman, Jeremie Price, Adam Helmes, Drew Nice, Brianne Clure, Gentry Clure and Matt Webber; five great grandchildren, sister-in-law Linda Robinson, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, September 6, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Jack Price officiating. Interment will follow in Sylar Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 Friday.
