Billy Floyd was born September 26th 1971 in South Pittsburg, TN, the son of Billy Floyd Freeman Sr. and Dorothy (White) Partain.
He worked 39 years in the printing industry. Most of those years were spent at Vincent Printing (Convergent Print Group) where he made lifelong friendships and met his wife Megan. Billy took immense pride in his work and loved showing his family all the different projects he worked on as they drove down the highway.
He especially loved spending time on the golf course with his friends and his sons. He was a fantastic and humble pool player. He loved teaching his kids and his wife the art of the game and found great joy in seeing them defeat an unsuspecting opponent.
Billy believed that Saturdays were for football, Tennessee football to be specific. Go Vols! He loved to watch spooky movies, make his family laugh, and he enjoyed a cold Bud Light after a long day at work. Billy was one of those people who was good at everything he did. He was a perfectionist, no doubt. But the thing he did best, was being a Daddy.
He and Megan attended Silverdale Baptist Church, North Ooltewah.
Remaining to cherish Billy’s memory are his wife, Megan (Porter) Freeman; children, Candice Freeman, Curtis (Christy) Freeman, Ethan Freeman, and Journey Freeman; grandchildren, James Freeman, Connor Freeman, Josie Swafford, and Callum Freeman; parents, Dorothy and Mike Partain.
