Barbarra Gregory, 64, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 in a local hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Nashville, TN before moving to Chattanooga 33 years ago, and was the daughter of the late Claude A. and Emma Cummings. A member of the Grace Baptist Church in Nashville, she was a longtime Amateur Radio Operator and a member of the Tennessee Valley DX Association. Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, Greg Gregory; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Amiee Gregory, McDonald, TN; two brothers, Don Cummings, South Carolina and Terrell Cummings, Murfreesboro, TN; three sisters, Claudine Love, Shelbyville, TN, Jane Curtis, Nashville, TN and Mary Ruth Peterman, Hilham, TN; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Gary Carver officiating. Interment will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416. The family will receive friends from 4-8 Tuesday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist.
