She was the daughter of the late Jewel and Birtie Scoggins and was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Charles and Chester Scoggins.
Barbara retired as a supervisor from McKee Food Corporation. She enjoyed working at McKee so much that she returned to work as a production technician.
She loved gardening, cooking and reading the bible. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, especially during the holiday seasons.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her son, Donny Moore, of Chattanooga, TN, two granddaughters, Lacey and Megan Moore, and her sister, Peggy Perry, of Ringgold, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 10, 2021, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Owens officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date in Lakewood Memory Gardens – East.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the funeral home.
