Awanda Davis Smith

She was born and raised in Ooltewah and was the daughter of the late Fred A. Davis and Mary F. Conley Davis. Awanda was a graduate of Ooltewah High School, class of 1953. She was a previous member of Silverdale Baptist Church and currently was a member of Mountain View Christian. Awanda had a strong Baptist faith, loved her family deeply as well as her church family and community. She retired from Provident Insurance Company. Awanda was lovingly known by the nicknames of “Jeep and “Beep”.

Awanda was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Stulce; her second husband, William A. Smith and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her sister, Lenis Cotter; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, March 21, 2022, in the funeral home chapel Pastor Richard Barr and Pastor Steve Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in McDonald Cemetery.
