Alfred Taylor Burton, 78, of Chattanooga passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 in a local hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Germany.
Survivors include his wife, Ruthie F. Burton; two sons, Tony Burton of Fairview, TN and Shane Burton of Chattanooga; one daughter, Hayley L. (Josh) Headrick of Chattanooga; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one sister, Sandra Dixson of East Ridge, TN.
A graveside service will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
