David Edwin Jackson, age 83, of Pawnee, Illinois passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023.

He was born in Eugene, Oregon to Earl H. and Nelda Burian Jackson.

David was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Jackson; and son, Christopher Jackson.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Jackson; sons, Michael (Dawn) Jackson and Daniel (Branda) Jackson; daughter-in-law, Karen Jackson; and five grandchildren.

A memorial gathering for David will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at Butler Funeral Home- Chatham, 8855 State Rt. 4, Chatham, Illinois 62629, followed by a memorial ceremony at 10:30 AM with Sr. Judith Pfile, OP officiating.

Burial will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
