Thomas Franklin Lively, 43, of Esmont, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Charlottesville on September 17, 1970 he was the son of Thomas B. and Linda Shifflett Lively. He was preceded in death by his son Andrew Thomas Lively. Mr. Lively was in the Mining Industry. In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving wife Selena Lively, one daughter Deanna Lively, one son Shawn Lively and his wife Shannel; three brothers Wayne Lively, Kelly Lively, Jeffrey Lively, and two granddaughters Scarlette and Cassadee. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday June 21, 2014 in the Teague Chapel with Reverend Clarke Hawkins officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Emily Couric Cancer Center at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
