Theresa Clements Morris

Theresa Clements Morris, 58, of Stanardsville, Virginia passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. She was born in Charlottesville, Virginia on June 14, 1966. Theresa was preceded in death by her daughter, Hope; father, Carl Clements, grandmother, Fannie Hill; and friend, Melissa Martsoff. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Philip Morris; daughter Heather Shields and husband, Nathan Shields; daughter Katelyn Morris-Stearns and husband, Michael Stearns; her grandchildren Lily Collier, Peyton Collier and Greyson Collier; and sister Tracy Shifflett and husband, Paul Shifflett and family.

Theresa loved spending time with her family the most. You could always find her at the ballpark watching her three grandchildren play softball and baseball while cheering them on. All the kids there, and parents too, knew her as Mimi and she loved them all as her own. When she wasn’t at the ballfield, she loved cooking and hosting “get togethers” as she always wanted everyone close. Theresa loved every one of the friends she made throughout her career as a hair dresser and at Sam’s Club.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date that is still yet to be determined.
