Rose Mary Morris

Rose Mary Wilson Morris, 76, of Charlottesville, peacefully departed this world on October 31, 2023, surrounded by her three daughters. She was reunited with her parents, Betty and Edward Wilson, her brothers, Jimmy and Larry Wilson, her beloved son, Kenny Woodson, and her dearest friend, Kathy Frazier.

She is survived by her brother, William Wilson (Darlene) of Maryland, who meant the world to her. She is remembered by her three daughters, Sandi Vazquez of Charlottesville, Linda Bishop (Timmy) of Fluvanna, and Deanna Villanueva (Ricky) of Ashburn. Rose Mary was also a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: Tabitha, Kristina, Heather, Kendra, Travis, and Emmanuel, and a loving great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren: Brianna, Taide, Thalia, Natali, Dakota, Jackeline, Brody, Keira, and Joaquin, who will always carry her memory in their hearts.

Rose Mary retired from Frank IX & Son after 20 years, later earning her CNA certification and a degree in computer technology.

Rose Mary cherished her dogs, Coco, Jackie, and Mo, as her pride and joy. They were eagerly awaiting her in heaven, having always filled her life with happiness.

The family expresses their deep gratitude to her caregivers Erica Teal and Andrea Jones Tarrer, and Hospice of the Piedmont for their unwavering support and care during Rose Mary's final journey.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her name to Hospice of the Piedmont or Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA.

There will be a viewing held on November 2, 2023 at Teague Funeral Home from 11am – 1pm, with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
