We are sad to announce the death of Richard Howard Herbert, who passed away at UVA University Hospital on June 16, 2022 after a brief illness. Rick was born on July 30, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA. He is survived by his wife Carolyn, sister Karen and children Jennifer, Julie, Stefanie and Greg.
Rick lived a vibrant, active life and loved skiing, hiking, sailing, writing and spending time with family.
To the staff, nurses and doctors at UVA University Hospital, thank you for the care, compassion and respect you showed Rick and his family.
A memorial service will take place at Rockfish Presbyterian Church in Nellysford, VA on June 21st at 3pm.
